Week 7 - April 15th - 21st
Dear First Striders,
It is nice to see a good number of you are continuing to do your homework. For some, it breaks up your day and gets you out of the house. For others, it may be a sanity-saving evercise "if" your whole family has returned to Mom's house because of school closures, job layoffs or financial difficulties. A good walk or run can help release tension. Keep up the good work!
If you haven't responded to the choices about our workshop postponement to the fall session, you can find the options on www.FirstStridesNMB.com (until mid-June). Or go to the original Postponement email (4/5/2020 1:26pm). Please let us know when you know.
WEEK 7 WORKOUT (April 15-21): 2 Easy minutes; 4 Hard minutes x 5 repetitions. Always begin with the warmup and end with the cool down. 4 times again this week.
No, you do not need to add the 4th Day! If you do, make it a 30 minute easy/recovery pace day. Alternate your rest days with your workout days. Both 3-day or 4-day workouts count!
ATTENDANCE CREDIT CHALLENGE: For those of you able to complete our 3 (or 4) homework sessions this past Week 6 (April 8-14), please REPLY to this email with the following:
"(First & Last name) completed 3 (or 4) homework sessions in Week 6."
A favorite quote of mine: "Complexity is merely too many simplicities at once." Author unknown. So, ...
Left, right ... repeat!
